On my window, I have this wall decor with a quote. I always find myself glancing at this saying even when I'm having a class. Its a kind of reminder for me.
Each class is 1 hour, actually 50 minutes, but sometimes a class could feel like 3 hours. So I bought this really big wall clock shaped like a cellphone! I thought it was funny at first, because of the shape. Looking at this clock makes the minutes fly so fast!
And of course, I have this collage of pictures of my students then and now. Its stuck on my wall. Whenever I feel I've lost the nerve to teach, I look at each of the faces of the students that I have taught... and once again, I feel happy to be a teacher.
